Red Compartida owns unique features

Access to a spectrum of great value: For the operation of Red Compartida, the IFT will directly allocate 90 MHz of the 700 MHz band, considered ideal for the provision of mobile services.  

Long term: The allocation of the spectrum and the Public-Private Partnership contract for the deployment and operation of the Red Compartida shall have a term of 20 years.

Foreign investment: According to the legal framework, Red Compartida may have up to 100% of direct foreign investment.

Wholesale: The Red Compartida will sell all of its capacities and services, in a disaggregated and non-discriminatory manner, only to operators with infrastructure and to virtual operators (concession holders and traders). It will not compete with their clients since it will not sell services directly to end users.

Other related opportunities: In addition to offering capacity to operators, Red Compartida will generate new business opportunities to suppliers of equipment and systems, of content and applications, of services for the Network and services to users, amongst others.
